Where There is Hope, There is Creativity
Hoping is an integral part of being human. Without hope, tasks such as innovating become difficult if not impossible. Why bother if there is no hope for a successful future? Hope is important for innovation at work because creativity requires challenging the status quo and a willingness to try and possibly fail. It requires some level of internal, sustaining force that pushes individuals to persevere in the face of challenges inherent to creative work.
Please note: Drew will also lead a brief workshop on “Demystifying AI: Creating Your Own ChatGPT Bot for Experiential and Action Learning Programs. Time to be announced.

Starting innovation from individual passion – introducing the effectuating intrapreneur!
Innovation is accepted as a fundamental task for companies to stay relevant. At the same time, there are many ways to organize for and around innovation. One particularly interesting source of innovation is the idea potential among employees. But how to engage employees in a way that acknowledges the company context, and gives them room to unleash entrepreneurial potential? We will explore what we have learnt from expert entrepreneurs and how this translates into effectively inviting employees to drive innovation activity as intrapreneurs.

René Mauer
