Cannes

9am - midnight

In the morning, a walking tour of Cannes and Le Suquet which offers an extraordinary view of the old town, the port, the Croisette, the Iles de Lerins and Bay of Cannes.
We'll explore the Forville market which is surrounded by a ring of wine merchants, butchers, bakers, fishmongers and delicatessans...only a few examples of the world class shopping for which Cannes is famous.

Lunch

In the afternoon, a 15 minute ferry ride will take us to the Iles de Lerins where we will visit the monastery where St Patrick studied before setting off to Ireland as a missionary. We will also visit the monks' vineyard and enjoy a wine-tasting.

Return to Cannes by ferry and walk along the famous Croisette to the "Ecrin Plage" for dinner with the rest of the Global Forum.
