Experiences of a first time Global Forum participant

I came to Singapore not knowing what to expect. I was excited of course, at the opportunity I was getting to attend a global seminar like this, to be speaking in front of the audience and last but not the least, to be setting my feet outside the country ever since having the kids. My ever-supportive husband and kids were ready to be on their own for a few days. I thought it would be a respite for them too to be relieved of the wifely/motherly ‘Do this and don’t do that’s for a while.
